ABOUT YVONNE
Hello. My name is Yvonne Bynoe, the creator of Sophisticated Woman and Mama.
I teach professional women (like you) how to go from being an underpaid professional to earning what they deserve.
I am an author , solopreneur, and attorney, who ran a nationally recognized not-for-profit organization. My writings have appeared in many publications including the Washington Post and Chicago Sun Times. I’ve been a contributor to National Public Radio (NPR), been a guest on numerous radio programs and over the years I have appeared on CNN, Fox Television and MSNBC.
I never considered myself a business person, despite being an attorney. Like many writers I focused on the work, not but not on building a reliable income. I was reluctant to take full responsibility for my financial well-being. I got my own business house in order with a mindset shift and with practical, how- to information that I provide to my clients.
I know what you’re going through and can help you to tackle your emotions— I’ve overcome some the fears and attitudes that are probably keeping you from making and keeping more money for your as a writer, artist or innovator.

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’re probably an underearner. An underearner is anyone who’s making less money than she needs or desires…despite her efforts to do otherwise. I provide coaching to women so that they can earn more income from their businesses .
If you’re an underearner, you’re not self-sufficient. I define self-sufficiency as having the financial and emotional resources necessary to take care of yourself (and your children)—your needs and your wants. It’s about valuing yourself enough to make your financial well-being a life priority.
You need need money to create a life that expresses your values and interests.
I teach you that that femininity and wealth are not mutually exclusive. More importantly, I teach you how how marketing is simply a way to serve more people with your work. My goal is to help you to transform your life and income.
I believe….
1. in women creating prosperity, which includes: good health, satisfying relationships, fulfilling work and an ample money to spend.
2. that prosperous women can create the lives they want for themselves and their children.
3. prosperous women can choose relationships that are honest and respectful; that are supportive and loving…they can reject the others.
4. that prosperous women are able to control their lives and are therefore happier. In turn they can raise happier children… they can identify & nurture happier relationships…they have the passion & energy to contribute to the betterment of their communities
5. prosperous women can amplify their voices; their issues and their concerns with their dollars.
