ABOUT YVONNE & SELF-SUFFICIENCY

Hello. My name is Yvonne Bynoe and I am a Self-Sufficiency Coach. I founded Sophisticated Woman and Mama to teach women how to become self-sufficient.  My goal is to help smart, independent, women to become financially responsible which includes coaching related to: financial goal-setting; reducing debt; increasing income or fees; and bolstering savings. My clients are married, single, and divorced. Most of the women I work with are mothers with young children children; some have corporate jobs while others are solopreneurs.

What is self-sufficiency? I define self-sufficiency as having the financial and emotional resources necessary to take care of yourself and your children, alone if necessary. It’s about valuing yourself, protecting your interests so that you can do what you’d like: provide for your children and maintain or upgrade your current standard of living. Unfortunately many women are unprepared for sudden changes in their lives and in their finances.

Do you ever think about the “What If?

Given our volatile economy you or your spouse could experience a job loss.
You or your spouse could be prevented from working due to a change in health.
The status of your relationship may change–you may be considering marriage or divorce.

If any of these situations happened to you do you have a “financial readiness” plan? Would you know what to do?

Through my blog, coaching, teleclasses and workshops I teach women how to:

*Take control of their income and their finances
*Make financial decisions that support their goals for their families and their careers
*Earn the money they deserve as an employee or as an entrepreneur

I am a solopreneur, author, and attorney, who ran a nationally recognized not-for-profit organization. I can provide you with practical information about negotiating a raise, changing your career or structuring a business.  I’m also the mother of a five year old who for years was reluctant to take responsibility for my finances since I was married.

What Changed for Me?

I took hold of my finances after seeing first-hand the toll the financial and emotional devastation a spouse’s death, a job loss or a divorce had on unprepared friends and relatives. I’m the perfect person to help you to tackle your emotions— the fears or attitudes that keep you from taking action on your money.

I invite you to visit my blog where you can ask questions, share successes and get support. I also encourage you to work with my as a way to achieve to more quickly gain self-sufficiency over your life and money.

Today, decide to step into your greatness!

Warmest,

Yvonne Bynoe
